About Us

Who We Are

Located amidst the serene landscapes of OHIO

At Joe’s Mini Cows Ranch, our mission is to ensure the well-being of our miniature cows while raising awareness about these unique animals. We prioritize ethical and sustainable practices, providing our residents with spacious pastures, comfortable shelter, and nutritious food tailored to their needs. Our commitment to transparency and integrity distinguishes us from other cattle ranches. Visitors can trust that our mini cows are raised with care and attention to detail, reflecting our dedication to their welfare.

Miniature Foundation was established to encourage the preservation of rare, heritage and miniature breed therapy farm animals as well as the Native and agricultural heritage connected to them through education, advocacy, and conservation.

Our goal is to respectfully steward our natural resources to ensure the long term health and survival of our natural and cultural heritage. We strive to promote knowledge and preservation of rare, heritage and miniature breed therapy farm animals and plants as well as an agro-ecosystem approach of cultivating and utilizing these natural resources. By preserving traditional farming and processing methods used by Native peoples and early pastoralists, we strive to harmonize our work of preserving rare breeds and the cultures that supported them.

Joe’s Mini Cows Ranch is a sanctuary dedicated to the care and nurture of miniature cows. Founded by Joe Smith, our ranch began as a heartfelt endeavor to provide a loving home for these adorable creatures. Joe’s journey into the world of mini cows was sparked by a chance encounter with these charming bovines. Enthralled by their gentle demeanor and irresistible appeal, Joe embarked on a mission to establish a sanctuary where miniature cows could thrive.

Thank you for considering Joe’s Mini Cows Ranch. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to our sanctuary and sharing the joy of miniature cows with you!

Natural rearing

Pride in Each Service

we believe in keeping our animals in as natural an environment as possible. Our pedigree Highland cattle are never housed, they live outside all the year round and are fed on grass, silage and occasionally a little corn and sugar beet to ensure the right balance of nutrients and vitamins.
